Central Coast Wetlands GIS Project
The Central Coast Wetlands GIS Project is a planning tool that provides descriptive and digital spatial wetland and watershed data for California's Central Coast in an Internet-based, interactive geograhpic inforamtion system. Applications of this tool include information distribution, permit analysis, and identification and prioritization of wetlands for conservation projects.

California Rapid Assessment Method
The California Rapid Assessment Method is an assessment tool that provides information about the condition of a wetland and the stressors that affect it. Moss Landing Marine Laboratories, the California Coastal Commission, and the Central Coast Wetlands Working Group are calibrating the tool in the central coast. This central coast component is part of a larger effort led by the San Francisco Estuary Institute and Southern California Coastal Water Research Project.

California Statewide Wetlands Inventory Initiative
The California Statewide Wetlands Inventory Initiative is updating U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service's National Wetlands Inventory data throughout the state. Twenty-two quadrangles will be updated for the region and the Central Coast Wetlands Working Group will provide input and field assistance to staff to ensure an accurate product.

Wetland Project Tracker
The Central Coast Wetlands Working Group is beginning work on a regional wetland project tracker. Following the successful example of the Bay Area Wetland Project Tracker, the project tracker will provide access to location, size, habitat, and status of central coast restoration, enhancement, and creation projects.
